Getting tattooed here
How old do you have to be to get a tattoo in Las Vegas?
You must be 18 or older with a valid government photo ID. Minors aged 14 to 17 may only be tattooed with a legal parent or guardian present and proper documentation, and many shops set stricter rules on top of that.
Do I need an appointment, or can I walk in?
Both work. Club Tattoo at The LINQ welcomes walk-ins daily on a first come, first served basis. For custom or larger pieces, an appointment is the surest way to get my chair on the exact day you want. Here's the full how-to.
What are your hours and where do you tattoo?
I tattoo at Club Tattoo inside The LINQ on the Las Vegas Strip, Sunday through Thursday, 10 AM to 5 PM.
Money
How much does a tattoo cost?
Small pieces usually run from about 50 to 150 dollars, most quality studios have a shop minimum, and larger work is quoted by the piece or by the hour. Send me the placement, the size and the story and I'll give you a real number. More detail in how much a tattoo costs in Las Vegas.
How much should I tip?
Plan on 15 to 20 percent for great work, and more for a big or multi-session piece. Cash is always appreciated.
The session and healing
Does getting a tattoo hurt?
It's manageable for most people, usually more like a hot scratch that stays in one spot. Fleshier places like the outer arm or thigh are gentler than bony spots like ribs, hands or feet.
How do I care for a new tattoo in the Las Vegas heat?
Keep it out of pools, hot tubs and direct sun, moisturize lightly with the product I recommend to fight the dry air, wash gently with fragrance-free soap, and never pick or scratch. It usually heals on the surface in two to four weeks. Full rundown in your first tattoo in Vegas.
My work
What styles do you specialize in?
Whip shading, florals and botanicals, watercolor washes, and fine line. Traditional, color, lettering and script come through my chair too, along with cover-ups and restorations. See whip shading explained and how I make color pop.
Do you do cover-ups?
Yes. Cover-ups and restorations are part of what I do: an old or faded tattoo that needs some love, brought back to life. Send a clear photo of the existing piece with your idea and I'll tell you what's possible.
How do I book with you?
Every booking button on this site goes to Club Tattoo's appointment page. Send a request with the placement, the size, and the story behind it. Here's how to book on the Strip. A request isn't a commitment. It just starts the conversation.
